Guys, I'm replacing the front pads and rotors on my 1996 9000 Aero. The car has been stationary for over a year so there is some rust all over the caliper, rotors, and pads. I got the rotor and old pads out. The rubber boot on the piston looks like it is coming apart and its pretty rust in there.
I tried compressing the piston back in with a large C-Clamp however it's not moving at all. Do I need to open the bleeder screw to relieve the pressure in the cylinder? Or maybe the caliper is completely rusted and frozen?
Thanks,
Rob
