You don't actually take any metal off of the thickness, you go inside the recessed part of the back of the flywheel and slowly remove it. You start in the middle and you work your way out but you don't change the thickness of the flywheel whatsoever.another word you don't actually cut into that part of the back of the flywheel that changes the thickness you leave that alone.
