When I had a radiator failure in my auto transmission Volvo 740 Turbo, I used rolled up pieces of paper towels to suck up the remaining Automatic Transmission Fluid in the coolant expansion tank after rinsing with Dawn - the ATF (oil) floated on the top and was absorbed by the towels. Took many repeats of this.
How is the coolant expansion tank held on? I imagine that there is a bolt somewhere, but I don't see it - need to change my tank.
