After all this time....
The testing process was frustrated by the shape & size of the Aero's male & female connectors.
To do this one must have jumpers to fit the female side, which means emulating the male tabs which are small, but also thick & flat.
Of course I tried clip leads to start with, but they are way too big.
After a few other ideas & tries I finally thought of making similar ends for jumpers.
I used bare #12 copper wire & carefully hammered it flat.
It took a few tries and finally I had the needed ends which fit nice & snug.
Then I soldered some #14 stranded wire in between each pair - added a bit of heat shrink...and...
Today was not raining, so it was finally time to make the test.
YAHOO !!! All thanks to Bernie for his superb help.
As I said before - with the module removed the Aero was immobilized - but with the 3 jumpers added in place of the module it cranked right up & ran.
YAY !!!
Now, all I need to do is locate the (hidden ??) SRS module, and add a way to flash the alarm LED & all the items on my current wish list will be fulfilled.
Thanks Again Bernie.
