My car now has both lower mounts of the solid type, and the front section of the 'dogbone' mount has the split polyurethane inserts. Vibration levels are very close to stock hydraulic/rubber. The advantage of both the solid rubber lower mounts, and the polyurethane inserts on the upper, are longer life, and I believe the solid mounts are also cheaper, at least than the hydraulic lowers.
However, you might check into the condition of your throttle body. My car was doing all sorts of jerking and bucking in response to throttle changes, sudden or otherwise. All the mounts being new didn't do anything to alleviate this problem. However, about two weeks ago, I cleaned out the AIC valve, the throttle body, and the AMM with the usual intake cleaner (could also use regular Carb cleaner I think), and fitted the upgraded turbo bypass 'hooter' valve. After this small amount of work, the jerking and bucking is gone, the car is very smooth getting on or off the throttle. Only cost me $2 for the can of cleaner, ok well $50 or so for the upgraded turbo bypass valve.
