Your #41 10 607 unit is the 2 plug unit,45 19 443 is a 1 plug SCC/DCC unit. Both can be wired to work in any 9000.To adapt your wiring to the SCC unit you will need to make up a harness(it would be nice if you could get to a boneyard and snip out a plug and a section of harnness from a late model so you would have plug, connectors and proper wiring colors). On the back of your unit is two 8 connector plugs and a space at the bottom to store your 3 wire plug from your old clock/edu.The diference between the 2 units is the later single plug unit combines all wiring to the left plug.On your unit the left plug contains 5 wires, and the right has 3 wires. If you examine the left plug terminals they are layouted in 2 rows of 4 positions veticlely. The top left is #5,6,7,and#8 the bottom. The row to it's left in #1,2,3,and#4 the bottom. The right plug is also # the same way.On the right plug position #1=B+,#2=GND,#8=Signal from speedometer plug center wire #2 a Green wire of 3 wires of the plug. The left plug #2=Reset,#4=Illumination,#6=Ignition +,#7=Info,#8=Switch lamp.If you make up the harness for the left plug use 1/4" female insulated spade connectors,so short curcuits are prevented.I would use 1 color wire for the complete harness and label the insulated female connectors with a permenent with a # to follow the numbering sustem on the SCC The harness will be 7 wires of 6" lenght and 1 wire of 30" lenght. The 30 " lenght will be the one over to the #2 terminal of the 3 wire plug on the speedometer labeled #8 for the right plug position. You will need to remove the dash top to get to the rear of the instrument panel to be able to get to the speedometer. Do you understand so far so i can go on with the conection to your clock/EDU functions?
