Or at least I'm going to school in Durham. In Greensboro I'd highly recommend Townsend Imports who help sponsor this sight and have an excelent set of technical web pages. His former partner, Ywan Mason, has started his own shop in Greensboro and should be very good too. They both only do Saabs. I've never had these guys work on my car, but it's safe to say they are excelent. I do most of my work myself, but it now needs a new clutch and I plan to take it to either Tom or Ywan. Be careful though, you have to book AT LEAST a month in advance, for Townsend anyway.
In the RDU area there is a place called Sweedish imports just off I-40 on 15-501 between Durham and Chapel Hill. They do Saabs and Volvos and I've heard some good things about them, but I have no personal or second hand experience. You might also want to check out the "Mechanics" link below for a list of recommended shops closer to your area.
Good luck, it's hard to find a good shop!
