Consider adding Firestone to your list

I continue to tout the Firestone SZ-50's. Absolutely excellent in every category I can measure, though they are reportedly weak in snow and ice, like most hi-perf tires. They are especially competent in the wet, a characteristic appreciated here in LA (the state).
These continue to rank near the top of the Tire Rack's survey (ultra-high-performance), though the Kumho 712's are hot on their heels at a lower price. I'm on my second set now and am continually amazed by their competence and the confidence they inspire. Neither set has been the EP, which is all that is available now, I think. These have a higher wear rating and purportedly superior performance. I'll believe the latter point compared to their older SZ-50 design only after trying them.
This may all be moot if you are running 15-inch rims, as they are available only in 225-55's in that rim size, if I recall. Mine are 205-55-16.
