John's right Steve! The definitive source for used vehicle history information is WWW.CARFAX.COM If I sound bullish it's because I am. I've worked for Carfax for over a year and I can tell you that as of this week we have over 1,100,000,000 records on used vehicles from every state (except RhodeIsland, they won't cooperate) and Canada. We have Title Odometer Accident Emissions Fire Insurance and other types of data. We work hard to bring in new sources and the most accurate data possible on a daily basis. If the data is available for the car you're looking at you can bet we will have it in our report. Good Luck and Happy car hunting. If anyone is interested in more info about what Carfax does and how we get such great data, email me directly and I'll tell you more. Or just go check out the website http://www.carfax.com
