Well...for me the real question is if you prefer the manual or auto box. Its a black or white decision in my book. I wouldnt put up with an automatic unless I was physically unable to work a manual. Opinions vary on this site...but the manual box is just as prone to problems as the auto. From personal experience...my 2nd gear snycro has been replaced 30,000 miles ago,..and I am now nearing the iminent replacement of both 2nd and 3rd gear syncros in the near but hopefully not too near future,,to the tune of apprx 1500.00...USD. If you like the car and dont mind the auto..check out Quasimotors web site for tips on areas of the car that frequently need attention,..or just monitor this site and youll see the trend.
