I have an '87 900S, '88 9kt and '91 9kt, and the 9000's are clear winners, a much superior car. I still drive my 900S in the winter, a car I've owned since '89, and it feels very familiar to me, but when I get back in a 9kt, it drives so much better. This is especially true for drives out of town. The 9kt's also handle much better. I had an interesting experience, just after we got identical new tires put on the '87 and '88. It was raining, and I was driving the '87, my wife following in the '88. I made a left turn on the wet pavement while going downhill, and had sliding with understeer. I looked in the mirror to see my my wife fared, and she had no such problem, at the same speed. I always noticed that her car drove better in the snow, as well. Enjoy your car. '92 was a good year for the 9000.
