I had a bent wheel on my 90 9kt . The tire shop would not touch it, I used a piece of 4x4 12" long and cut it on the band saw to match the inside of the wheel, then used it diametrically across from the damaged portion for support and to spread any forces out . I had an inside bend like yours but it was about an inch deep and a 6-7" chord across the circle of the wheel . I used a short hydralic bottle jack and another small block of Oak at the bend to push it out (WATCH CAREFULLY FOR ANY SIGNS OF FRACTURE) SLOW AND EASY. It took about four different "pushes" and some perseverance but I finally got it round within 1mm. and no run-out laterally. Anyways it's been two years now and the wheel is still good (even fooled the tire shop the second time around). From a safety standpoint I can't say I would ever do this for another person, but I had no wheel shop near by and worse yet no spare $$ for a new wheel. Of course you can screw up your wheel and need a new one. I was willing to accept that, but it was worth the try and as I said I lucked out. Oh, BTW, let the air out of the tire first, it doesn't fight back as much, but leave the bead intact as I feel it keeps from "over correcting" with the jack. A template can be a plus when
watching how much you bend out since it returns after the pressure is off.
