The engine is rough at low RPMs. In neutral, if I rev the engine up and let go it almost stalls. Once I get going in the higher gears, everything is fine.
Several people suggested a vacumn leak. Also plugs, etc.
So far I've checked all the vacumn lines I can see. I can't find a leak. I've replaced the plugs, wires, distributor and rotor. While the engine may be a little peppier, the problem goes on. I suspect I just haven't found the vacumn leak yet. The hoses I've thoroughly checked include all three that join at the Y joint, and all the ones I see coming out of the turbo.
What other hoses am I looking for? Where is the charcoal canister located- I haven't been able to check any vacuum hoses relating to that.. Any practical advice for finding the leak is appreciated.
