I have the SD Reds and have been very satisfied w/them ('92T).
1) Yes they are progressive. The ride is firm, not harsh. I have the original OEM shocks (80k).
2) They lower the car 30mm. This I did not really want to do but it was the price to be paid to improve the handling and eliminate the annoying "power boating" upon hard acceleration without throwing a lot of money into the suspension. Funny, I haven't snapped a pic of the car yet and I've had them in for awhile. I'll try to do that if your still interested.
3) They are mfgd in Germany. Swed Dynms provides a lifetime warranty towards them.
4) They cost me $300. The installation was remarkably easy and straight forward.
