Lots of '91 9000T questions

So I just bought a '91 9000 turbo with 95k miles on it - I've read most of the information I can find on the net, but still have a few questions. I didn't get any history on the car at all.
1) I need new tires. It comes with 205/50/16's, but these seem to be quite a bit more than say 205/55/16 or 225/50/16 - would it be best to stick to stock size, or is it OK to move to a sightly different size?
2) I have the dreaded heater core leak - but it's not leaking inside the cabin, and the windows don't fog - rather there's a visible leak in the front of the firewall. I just had the 95k service done, and will put some Bar's into it next time I drive it anywhere. How likely is this to fix the problem?
3) Motor mounts. All 4 need to be changed - they're pretty bad. Is there anything else I should do at the same time as I have these done? What about other parts that might be damaged or worn out due to this failure?
4) Alarm. The alarm system doesn't arm, and the LED doesn't flash. Is there an easy way to check to see what the problem may be? Anyone have a wiring diagram available?
5) Exhaust. Both the center and rear mufflers need to be replaced - are there any good aftermarket systems available? Should I go to midas, or replace with Saab parts?
6) Interior lights - the "INFO" button interior light doesn't light up, but the "R" button does. In addition, the backlight for the drivers seat heater lights up, but the passenger seat heater backlight doesn't. According to the dealer, the whole clock assembly needs to be changed to fix the info backlight - is this true, or is there an easy way to fix it?
Anyone have details as to how to remove the clock assembly?
Thanks for any help!
(I know it seems like there's a lot wrong with the car, but the body is in great shape, and I discovered every problem except for the motor mounts during a pre-purchase inspection and included those repairs in the purchase price. If I can fix the heater core with Bar's, I'll be about even)
