I am finally starting to look into upgrading this car after several years. I can't find much in looking at aftermarket parts places since they only focus on equipment for turbos. A local speed specialty shop is talking about fabbing a 3" exhaust from the manifold back including a 3" cat for about $500. He also says he can reprogram my ECU for about $300. Anyone have experience with upgrading a non-turbo. How do you all feel about cat-backs such as Starla vs. fabbing a 3" all the way back? Any input would be appreciated. I have 136K miles and both engine and clutch are in very good condition. I run 50/50 mix of Castrol dino oil and syn. Engine is very clean inside. Clutch still has more than 50% of the thickness but I am considering doing a clutch job this summer and replacing with a stronger center force and doing all the mounts and bushings at the same time. Still have factory suspension but open to any ideas.
