Status report: I just finished getting my new system installed this am. I used 2 1/2" straight run pipe from a free flow cat to a glass pack resonator into a free flow muffler. Everything made by goehrlich ( formerly A&P Industries) or the other way around. This is on a 92 9000S. Immediate performance improvement with no loss of low end torque. I am a little concerned about the interior sound level and may switch the resonator out for a more conventional resonator design. The system is flowed at about 430 cfm which appears to be higher than most cat-backs I have been able to find. With last week's K&N I really feel a noticeable improvement. Also the pipe lines are smoother with fewer bends and fewer locations for corrosion. Nice stainless tip with a slight extension to the lip of the fender and she looks good. I am now looking for some cylinder head mods and am wondering if anyone has an extra 2.3 liter head. Painting in April for $1500 over at a specialty shop in Vermont ( engine painting included).
