On pads, discs and fluids. Thanks for all the input Quasi, et al. Posted by Morgan [Email] (#1972) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Morgan) on Sat, 24 Mar 2001 16:30:26 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just wanted to make sure that I was clear. I am replacing old parts. I have no problem with the car's stopping ability. Just wanted to ensure I got the right setup going forward. A local indie is going to put the parts on and flush the fluid with Dot 4.
So, what I heard the most was that Saab stock pads are probably the best and I did not get a clear answer on the discs. (Although I did get some detailed advice from Townsend on this topic.)
I am going to try and get some cross-drilleds or slotteds for the front and stock for the rear.
Anyone think otherwise, please let me know.
Thanks again.
