I've been using Amsoil 2000 20w-50 "severe service racing oil" in my 95 9k CS since 65k mi (at the advice of Tom Townsend), with a tranny oil change every 30k. Right now, I've got 114k mi. on the odometer, with no adverse effects so far. And I run an ECU upgrade good for 240-250hp.
The shifting can be notchy when the car is still cold in the wintertime. But the tranny smoothes out when the car warms up.
