VDO Gauges finally installed!

Finally got my VDO Vision gauges installed with the help of a SAS three gauge panel. Boost, oil temp and oil pressure. They look excellent and the green illumination matches the rest of the dash perfectly. Sadly, my blue tinted Blaupunpkt may have to go as it sticks out like a sore thumb. I mounted them in the radio slot below the ACC unit and daisy chained the illumination and ground to the cigarette lighter light. For power I also tied into the cigarette lighter itself. I added a 1/4 NPT threaded nipple to the boost gauge and tied into the stock boost gauge with silicone hose. VDO suggests separate grounds for the oil temp and pressure and I grounded them to a metal bracket behind the glove box. I ran the wires into the engine compartment through the sunroof drain tube on the passenger side. I have yet to install the pressure gauge sender as it does look like it may contort the oil dip stick tube. The stock sender rests right against the tube. Someone else mentioned that on the BB, but I have yet to really investigate. Anyone run into this problem? Anyway, they look great! By the way, removing the dash helped immensely. I also replaced all of the vacuum hoses underneath the dash while I was there. Replacing the line from the engine to the stock boost gauge was quite easy - I attached a new silicone hose to the end in the engine and pulled it through the firewall! Thanks for everyone's help.
