I had my bad experience with Slick 50 in 1993 with my 83 900T. I had to replace an engine 2000 miles after an oil and filter change and adding
Slick 50. The whole experience cost me about $2200. Four months later I tried Militec-1. It has no teflon or other solid particles ans was tested
by the U.S. Navy. I have been using Militec-1 since Jan. 94'. I will simply say it works as advertised. I used it in my 83 900T after the motor was
replaced. The car was smacked in the rear at around 251,000 miles. The
replacement engine was running strong. I used Militec-1 in my replacement
87 900S, totalled in Dec. 97 and I use it in my current 87 9000S with
207,714 miles. The car had 145,890, when I bought it in Dec. 97'. I use
Castrol GTX 10W40 in my engine and 10W30 in my 5 spd. I use Militec-1 in the engine, trans, power steering and my A/C compressor. Check it out for
yourself. Even my Saab indy uses it.
