I just put one on my 92 six weeks ago. I use my car for around town and highway driving but I wanted to improve the exhaust scavenging so I went with 2.5 inch pipe, a low restriction cat, and the xlerator muffler. Unfortunately, the cabin resonance and noise is unacceptable for my needs so after many hours of research I ordered a Spintech muffler. It is actually designed for both high flow and noise control. I am optimistic that it will meet my needs and it was $20 cheaper than the Xlerator. The Spintech is very popular in California but the company is only a few years old. Shipping to New York was only $8 and my jobber will put it on for free. I really liked what I saw of the internal design for sound control. I had also considered the Delta Flow 50 but picked the Spintech instead after interviewing several speed shop owners by phone. If you call them ask for Dave and tell him I suggested that you call. By the way the low restriction system is giving me substantially better performance, and mileage and I have seen no drop-off in low-end torque. http://www.spintechmufflers.com
