...which are the downpipe (first part of the exhaust after turbo) and the catalyst. 3" downpipes are available (I can supply one for you if you like, just e-mail me) and 3" free-flowing cats are available from several sources in the US. I have a 3" in 3" out cat from http://www.randomtechnology.com on my 97 9000 Aero with 3" exhaust all the way. Wonderful both in terms of sound, low-end grunt and top-end power.
That is definetely your next move, as long as modifiying the airbox which is a simple DIY job.
After that, it's ECU time.
