If I understand you correctly, you're trying to convert a normally aspirated engine to a turbo. My recommendation is: don't do it. A
turbo engine, and especially a "chipped", high pressure variant, has
a lot more stresses put upon its' components (exhaust valves, pistons,
etc.) - the NA engine does not have sodium filled exhaust valves and
beefier pistons that the B234R engines have. You'll also need all the
APC control elements and an intercooler. By the time you add up all the
costs of adding on all these elements, you would undoubtedly be better off
trading 'her' in on an Aero. You'll end up with a vehicle that's much
easier to service, in the long run, and, you'll be sitting in the most
supportive and comfortable seats ever put in a Saab.
