I had a hose come crimp come lose between the clutch master and the slave cylinders. I replaced both the hose and the master cylinder from my donor car. I have tried the method using the bike tire and a pump to pressurize the system. Did not work, even with the help of pumping the clutch.
So we filled the master in the car as much by hand as possible, and think that we got a flow through the line, but we cannot get the flow through the bleed point off the slave. We even filled the line partially separately and hooked it up. When we pumped the pedal (with the bike tire pressure on it), we did get some liquid to come out, but then we just got gurgling. It is as though the master cannot get the valve open without more pressure.
One last thing. It was 3/4 full in the reservoir, so we capped it off with DOT 3.0 Then we learned this was a mistake, and syphoned out the "mixed" fluisd replacing it with DOT 4.0 Still the same results were had.
Any ideas? We are stumped and have no further ideas... Thanks

Any suggestions?
