Sounds reasonable to me - manual or automatic?

Five and a half years ago, I paid about that price (tiny bit more) for a nine year old Saab as yours is. Mine had higher mileage and was an automatic - at the time I didn't know of the life expectancy of the automatic, but it was in perfect condition when I bought it.
If yours is perfect as you say, personally I don't see why your price has anything wrong with it, it's already considerably under blue book.
However, judging by the comments over years spend here on TSN, MOST people would feel this is too high. Apparently, everywhere but here (and maybe where you are?) Saabs, and the 9000 in particular, are a dime a dozen and you can always find one in excellent shape for much less money than the current one in question. In these parts, near Seattle, 9000s are VERY rare and really good ones don't come up that often. In any given classifieds section of the Seattle Times, you may find four 9000 for sale, often automatic..
How far you should drop the price really depends on you - how much do you need the money? I for one am really curious why the 9000's seem to go for so much lower than the blue book value. Isn't the blue book value already adjusted to account for the very low resale value of the car?
