What was the cost for the diagnosis and repair?
My 89 9KT Auto has been doing this for years.... I had taken it into them before, and they 'bench tested it' and said everything was fine.
If I accelerate more than gingerly from a stop [read: coast a few feet then lightly press on the accelerator], it will light and stay lit until the next restart.
I've also noticed that if I approach a light (breaking to a stop) and it changes to green - sometimes it will light when I accelerate from this slowdown - unless I do the coast/accelerate mentioned above...)
Very frustrating... I'm mainly concerned when it's snowy/rainy and that light is on......
