I think the K&N instructions will tell you to snip a little of your hosing, but don't! Just slide it on the end as is. Then goto home depot and they have heat resistant insullation that has a strong adhesive on one side and aluminum foil on the other. Stick a couple two-three slabs of that together and cut a hole (precisely) to slide onto hosing. It stays in the shape you mold it and works great. Doesn't look the best but if your filter is mostly inside your wheel well it is a trivial matter to seal it off from the back. It sticks right to the frame making a heat resistant wall that is shape-able. It was in the plumbing section, and costs fifteen dollars for a lot of it. I HIGHLY reccommend this if you have a K&N (or some heat shield). My 96 aero rocks with it regardless of weather.
