9000CDE idle's rough and climate control

I have recently purchased a 9000CDE with 84,000. Got a great deal and here's a couple of reasons why.
1. When shut off and restarted after a period of 10-40 minutes it idles rough. It misses for a couple of minutes then runs fine. If I shut it off and restart right away it runs fine. If it sits for an hour and is restarted it runs fine. There is that short window it doesn't like. I suspect I have a leaking fuel injector flooding one cylinder. I am thinking about changing the plugs inspecting for an ugly one and changing that injector. Sound plausable??
2. The climate control is wacky. If I have it on HI temp it blows hot. If I drop it to a digital # (even 82 degrees) it blows cool and even kicks on the AC compressor! So I removed to fuse for the AC compressor to see if it would blow warm. Didn't help at all. I'd like to be able to set the temp to a comfortable level! Sound familiar to anyone?? Please let me know if it does!
