My recently purchased pristine white 89 turbo has no HEAT!!! It also sputters, stumbles, trips over itself under WOT. It seems to return to normal when I let off the accelerator. I've changed the plugs, air filter, cap and rotor. I'm changing the wires this weekend. This car really seem s to want to pull upon my pressing accelerator but its almost as if the fuel supply is cut or something. I already tried disconnecting the apc hose to the wastegate. This resulting in no discernable difference. What else could cause this hesitation?
The second problem is the lack of heat. I dont really smell anything when the heat is turned on. The air blows nice and cold though!! Is there a quick fix.
The third thing is the noise this engine makes. I know that some multi engine are a little noisy on startup and eventually quite down once they have warmed up. This car however seems to absolutely rattle! Is this normal for a 9000 16v? If not, what are the common causes for this rattling noise?
What is the bolt pattern for these cars in case I want to change to an aftermarket set of wheels?
At lastly, My car is an automatic and I must say I have never driven an automatic that seemed to shift with any performance in mind until this car. It's the best pre year 2000 automatic I've ever driven.
