This alarm system has adjustable sensitivity, so you might check a service manual for the procedure, which as I recall doesn't require special tools. I had a '91 9KT but never had any major problems with the alarm system, though it could fairly easily get set off by passing trucks, etc. I sold all my manuals pertaining to that car and those I have now only cover the remote-controlled alarm system. I sold some of my old manuals to Quasi, I think, so you might check with him for info on adjusting it. I'm sure the '91 and '92 systems are the same.
