My 1977 Saab 99 GLE has not run since more than 10 years. I want to restore the car and tried to start the engine. After some new plugs it did run, but I could not get it above 20 miles/hour.
I put in some new fuel (got the old one out) but it does not run long. How can this be? What I did is following:

- warm up regulator NEW
- fuel pump NEW (but other Bosch number)]
- fuel distributor/air mass meter cleaned
- fuel filter changed
- air filter removed

It runs much to rich when I start it, and after 10 secs or so it stops running. The plugs are veru wet after trying a few times so I have to dry them every few attempts.

Anyone got tips?
