The biggest worry is the fuel system. If it sat 12 years with fuel in it, could be a real mess. At a minimum you'll have to get the tank cleaned out. I would not try to run the fuel pump before doing that. Also the fuel distributor might need to come apart and get freed up. I would clean the tank, put in a new filter, and make sure the fuel dist is free before trying to start it (with fresh gas, of course. There will likely be other issues (why did someone park it in the first place?).
The second item is the cooling system which could be a load of sludge after 12 years depending on it's condition when it was parked. I'd drain and refill that and even flush it if possible before trying to run the engine.
The basic engine is pretty stout. If it can be turned, not too much to worry about in the lower end. The head can crack or the valve seats wear, but again if it turns it probably didn't get coolant in the cylinders. Depending on mileage it could need a valve job.
Hope that helps, let us know if you have questions or find other issues!
Good Luck,
Gary
