I really was just interested in clearing up the clutter. I would think that you could get a little performance gain from removing the Air Pump in the earlier car. What Gary says about the EGR does make sense in that you could potentially make thing less efficient. I did remove the PVC running from the fuel filler neck to the charcoal filter barrel in the left wing.
