Concern with Possible Failure of Fuel Lines

Does anyone know of a more durable replacement for the fuel lines that run from the fuel distributor to the injectors?
I have a 1978 99GL Combi Coupe. While I have not had one of these lines fail, I’m concerned that the engine bay heat-up and cool-down cycles over the years, combined with normal material aging, have made the fuel lines more susceptible to failure.
They appear to be made of some type of semi-rigid plastic, and I know you don’t want to be bending them around while working in the engine bay. They are definitely not as flexible as high-pressure rubber fuel hose.
Please advise; thanks!
