The 900 driveshafts are a bit longer than their corresponding 99 components, since the 900s front track is a little wider. I had a 1980 99 that I upgraded with the whole 86- ventilated setup. Using the 99 driveshafts was not a problem, and they connected to the later outer CV joints with no trouble.
