So here's the rest of the story (happy ending) It wasn't the jack shaft after all. I had supplied them with what I thought was a new pump. It was actually reman and the shaft was slightly undersized for the impeller. They took it all apart and found things that matched up so now it works. But it brings up my pet peav. So much of these Model 99 parts sold online are garbage. I can't remember where I bought it from so I can't get my money back. Anyway my car runs now.Thanks everyone for your input.
