The 02 system vs. no 02 system. - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
So, I finally opened the hood on the 99; pondering if I had the twin header pipe ( that I recall on my 99 years ago) and low, and behold..it is not. The 99 has the catalyst system.
I recall my 78 99, has quick acceleration- actually, very very impressive power..quicker than a 900 spg. My question, is what can I expect from this California spec 99? I read also, that the compression was lower on these vehicle. I assume the pistons?
If I source a twin pipe header manifold, would that make a difference? It seems that the early lambda systems were not that great.
Comments would be great. Thanks
