Djet idles fine, stalls above 10% throttle - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
Hello again - My 1970 99e ran when parked last October. It rested comfortably in my garage all winter, and upon trying to start it recently, discovered it stalls completely with even a small bit of throttle opening. I replaced the Pertronix unit, no effect. Replaced cracked rubber fuel pump area lines, no effect. Replaced the throttle switch (the old one was a NOS unit with 5K miles on it) no effect. I have all the other Djet components, like the pressure sensor etc. Keep replacing components? I'm thinking Maybe test the fuel pressure? The idle is completely normal, plugs clean, cap and rotor virtually new. Thanks for advice!
