If you have K-jet FI, and it does flood after cold starting, it could be possibly 3 things:
- thermo time switch, causing the cold start valve to stay on
- cold start valve, not shutting off
- warm-up regulator, putting too much fuel into system at idle/warm up period.
Another area to check is ignition. Wet plugs could indicate mis-firing plugs. A 75 would have points/condensor, and the points could be sticking. A common thing is loose plug wires, which could cause mis-firing, which would cause wet plugs.
Look for simple things, and test each component ONE at a time, in order to tell what the cause is.
Hopefully this will help.
