Type F, even though the owners manual says Type A / Dexron? I have read that Type F is more grabby and Type A is more slippery. If it really should be Type A, then Dex III would work since it's fully backward compatible with the original Type A formulation.
And absolutely, I need to drop the tank and clean it all out. Hoses and electrical will be next, to see how bad they are.
