I am not sure about the interaction between the breaker points distributor and the newer style "smart" fuel pump relay. In the electronic ignition system, the "smart" fuel pump relay shuts the pump off if the engine stops turning or if it is over-revved. The signal from the breaker points may not be the same. But, you may also be able to use an older relay and eliminate that rpm function all together (so not need the blue wire). Good luck! Best, Gary
