Hi, if you decide to change the bolts but keep the imperial, I *believe* this is the correct sizings for the rear axle (at least for my '78 car). Later axles had a lot more metric. Certainly the 900 axle I now have (from an '86 car. The mounts to the body and the panhard rod are still the same though. Uprated bush availability is much better for the later axles too (something which helped me decide to change!).

Panhard rod to axle: 7/16" x 2 1/2" UNC
Panhard rod to body: 7/16" x 2 3/4" UNC (cone point)
Spring arm to body: 7/16" x 3" UNC
Spring arm to axle: 1/2" x 4 1/2" UNC
Trailing arm to axle: 7/16" x 2 3/4" UNC
Trailing arm to body: 7/16" x 2 1/4" UNC (cone point)
Front spring base: 1/2" x 4" UNC
Rear disc to hub: 1/4" x 1/2" UNC
Rear back plate to hub: M6x10 Hex head
Link arm bracket: 7/16" washer 7/16" nyloc nut
