This winter my 18 yr. old sold his truck and bought the 76 EMS with 2.1 16vt built by John Wirt and Mike (?) in Id. The guy that bought it in Seattle was selling it to finance a '78 99t conversion to 16vt. It was not running and needed a trailer ride home. Got it for 8 bills!

Son and I are doing lots of work to restore it to its former glory. We had new oil lines made for the two oil coolers, new radiator modified to fit 16 v hoses and res, and adding cooling fans plus wiring. The sunroof is a factory original. The previous owner took out the molded material on the roof and tossed it in the trash bin. Anyone know how we could go about rebuilding the headliner board. It doesn't seem like a '78 turbo/EMS headliner will work because the sunroofs were different size. I love the sunroof on this car. I am very jealous.
