Not many choices in 1974 for model designations Posted by DougM [Email] (#211) [Profile/Gallery] (more from DougM) on Wed, 13 Dec 2006 18:07:47 In Reply to: Re: what year is it?, Sweed Speed, Wed, 13 Dec 2006 17:47:08 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
there was the base model X7, which still had the 1.85 liter engine < and I've never actually seen one of those in my life.
There was the EMS, which is easy enough to spot if it has soccerballs and the nicer stitched seats, and hard foam doorpanels.
Then there was also the 99L for 1974.
74's could have been 2dr, 3dr or 4dr.
The external slave on the 2.0 liter engines was 1973-1975
Carolina Blue was the only stock blue used in 1974.
D-jet with a header makes for a very peppy car. I still hope to get a header one of these days for my 73.
