I don't know if you can reset it, but if you are good with electronics, maybe. It's fairly easy to bend back the edge of the relay cover and remove it. You can then check it out for burned components and file the contact points. I have done this on numerous occasions with relays of different kinds with vatying degrees of success. If it doesn't work, what's the worst that could happen? You have to replace the relay? You have to do that anyway. I would really try to find a good used one. I got mine from East of Sweden for $10 plus shipping. Now that's a deal considering parts places want $150 or so for one IF they could get it. Get 2 or 3 used ones so you have some spares.
