Not sure what you mean by trim but I will say that I have a headliner from an early 90s 900, sans sunroof, in my '76 ems notchback. The problem I've found with 900 headliners in 99s has been with the wagonback cars as the c-pillar covers are quite different in how they fit. There are also some differences near the hatch but all in all, if you have a backing issue, and have run out of options, a 900 headliner will almost always work even if the fit isn't perfect.
