I have a '74 99LE that was converted to carb, that I would love to convert back to D-jet. Do you have anything besides the carb and intake? I can take photos of what was done on this one if you need it, but it is pretty simple. The fuel pump is mechanical, run off of the balance shaft, and the return line isn't used at all. If you use the original Saab manifold and air cleaner it is quite straightforward. As to their rarity, there seemed to be a lot more 1.7 & 1.85L engines with carbs than 2.0L.
