Check the inlet/outlet at the warm up regulator. There is one side that has a screen that has been clogged on cars I've had in the past.

Have you rechecked the spray pattern? Does it still leak on that one injector?

You really need to get a line pressure gauge so you can see what it is doing pressure-wise when it starts to do its thing. Hopefully you have a factory manual now to help you in that process.

Just because you've had a go at the distributor doesn't mean you've cleaned it out. As well, if after your first cleaning things improved then it would make sense that with further cleaning it may work better. Not always the case but probably the case for your situation. There have been a few good suggestions during this saga about parts and ways to clean them. If you haven't done all that then you still have those suggestions to follow. I think that with your having access to another fuel distributor you are doing your brain a disservice by not just giving it a try in the 99. If the car works with the other dist. in then you have an answer. If it does the same thing then you know it is something else. No matter the crummy mess of having to swap all the lines the answers that come from the effort will totally be worth it.
