You could get a 900 Sport around 1985 in some markets, which was a normally aspirated car (no turbo), but I have never heard about a 99 turbo sport from factory. No Saab turbo was delivered with water injection (except some works rally cars), and it was mostly used as a sales incentive on second hand B motor turbo cars. Saab factory water injection was introduced on August 25, 1981, in an internal bulletin (I have a copy). It was entirely developed by Saab's engineering department and approved for use on B motors only! If the kit was installed by Saab, the factory warranty would remain intact. With the water injection kit, the maximum boost could be increased to 1.2 bar and the new overboost switch would only kick in above 1.35 bar. In reality you could often raise the boost to 1.5 bar without ignition knock and get close to 200 hp :-) With the kit, came also an "S" emblem for the trunklid, so the new designation would read 99 turbo S.
